My sister, Carla, is home for a visit from Singapore and we took advantage of this time to do her corporate headshot. A little internet research told us that modern headshots were laid back and outdoors so we, together with our photographer dad, set out to do just that.
ABOUT THE LOOK
The new corporate headshot is less stiff and more open as opposed to the super formal look of the past.
Formal or not, a great photo starts with a perfect base. So I prepped Carla’s skin with Tarte Clean Slate Perfecting Primer before evening out her skin tone with a thin layer of RCMA foundation. I then concealed her active breakouts with It Cosmetics Bye Bye Breakout concealer. After brightening her eye area with Bobbi Brown Serum Concealer, I did a quick set with a colorless powder. Then I added a little bronzer and a little bit of blush to warm up her skin.
Product list: Tarte Clean Slate Perfecting Primer, RCMA color process foundation, It Cosmetics Bye Bye Breakouts concealer, Bobbi Brown serum concealer, Laura Mercier secret brightening under eye powder, Ben Nye colorless powder, Suesh contouring powder, Joe Blasco powder blush, Kryolan eye shadow compact
Carla maintains her naturally full brow so I didn’t need to groom them too much. And since over-drawn brows are not her usual style, I just filled in sparse areas with brow powder. Then I enhanced her eyes with soft browns from the Makeup Forever Starlit Palette.
Product list: K-palette 2-way liquid eyebrow pen, Makeup Forever Starlit eyeshadow palette, Sephora Collection Eye Pencil To Go, Majolica Majorca Lash King
It seemed like a good time for coral lips so I used coral lip pencil with a satin matte finish lipstick from Inglot.
Product list: Sephora Nano Lipliner, Inglot lipstick
